The ski resort: the Roc d'Enfer and the Portes du Soleil    

The Chèvrerie village (1 100m) is located in the Roc d'Enfer circuit (comprised of Saint Jean d'Aulps and the Chèvrerie resorts).  The Roc d'Enfer and its detour in the forest in a wild frame of splendid scenery and panorama views.

It is 20 kms of ski slopes in a natural and protected environment. You will enjoy the beautiful landscape with views of the Dents du Midi in Switzerland, Lake Geneva and the majestic Roc d'Enfer summit (2 244m)!

Family resort, Saint Jean d'Aulps benefits of a ski bus link towards the other ski resorts of the Portes du Soleil. With 650kms of slopes, the Portes du Soleil is a group of 14 french and swiss ski resorts, and is the biggest ski area in the world.

Ski buses are running during the winter period (Balad'Aulps, 1€ per ride) and take you to Morzine, Montriond and les Gets (for more information, see here).

Cross-country skiing

From the Chèvrerie, you have access to a large cross-country circuit,  free and designed for skiers of all levels. Cross-country skiing around the lake of Vallon and enjoy more than 20 km of slopes. Also, possibilities to do snowshoe trekking, paragliding, sled dogs, sledge trail, hitch up sleigh (For more information, see here.)
